Royal Alberta Musuem

Yesterday, Haya (my spouse) and our two kids went for an extraordinary visit, they visited the Royal Alberta museum in Edmonton.
Haya was telling me how anxious and wonderful is the museum, most of the exposed items she sees for the first time in her life. especially for the Dinosaurs.

Both my kids were so anxious, my wife told me about a drawing of a native group surrounding a cooking torch, but my little kid was observing that at the very back of the drawing there is a guy feeding a Husky with a fish!! It is very nice to see new things in your life.

It was the first time I knew that Canada and more in particular Alberta was a very milestone in the Dinosaurs life, I love to hear about ancient things especially animals and people who used to live before us.

I think it is very important for every Albertan and Edmontonain to visit the Royal Alberta Museum.

Muslims Holidays (Holly Days)

There is mainly two days considered as Holidays for Muslims. The first one comes after the month of Ramadan, where Muslims fast for 30 consecutive days from sunrise to sunset. We are not allowed to eat, drink, smoke, dirty talk or have sexual intercourse during their fast hours. The month of Ramadan usually been determined according to the Lunar Calendar (Hijri Calendar). During Summer months this is usually comes a very long hours. In some months like July the Muslim fasts for 16-18 hours. although for some people it is tough, but it still the month all Muslims wait passionately because they believe it is the month of repentance from all the sins the Muslim might been committed during the year.

The second holiday comes during the Pilgrimage month, where Muslims from all the world goes to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the most important thing in this worship is that the Muslim leaves everything behind him and stands in equality with all other Muslims from all over the world, whatever his color, ethnicity, gender, or social status was, no preferences no privilege. All at the same level seeking nothing but the mercy of Allah (The Lord).

Assembling the Puzzle

Each evening I have a crowded program to follow, first my two Little kids want to ride the pony horse, which should be me, then I have to set on the TV watching the different shows, Barny the Dinosaur, Teddy Bear, Franklin, Brother and Sister but the most important ones are Dora the Explorer and Diego.
I enjoy watching those cartoons as much as my kids enjoy them, but the things that attracts my attention and enjoys me more is the fact that my little kids are learning English professionally and fast.
Yes, the follow up of my elder kid Karim really astonishing me, he memorizes the schedule of the different shows and comes when we go to bed wants to review and tell me about the stories of those shows.

Another compulsory activity is fixing the puzzle, Karim enjoys and a professional puzzle fixer he is only 3 1/2 years and able to fix 48 pieces puzzle.

I think kids have huge capacities to learn and be creative.

A Day in My Life

I think life is so interesting; life is translated into days and days are interpreted by how much you achieve, or in other words, What did you do in your life.

I can say that since I had my first kid Karim, a dramatic change veered my life. I can say it's completely changed to become more about learning and teaching.

Yes, you are challenged because you are under the spot all the time. Your time while you are off will be focusing on raising, teaching and learning, so you go back to school as a compulsory step.

I remember the first days my little kid started to look and figure his surrounding, his first baby talking and his first toddling. I think this is the richest experience a person could get in their life.

For me, the day I spend with my kid is really a day I should be counted in my life.

My New Life

My New Life started with my arrival to Canada, it was December 11, 2007. It was a dramatic change in my whole family's life. My parents, my spouse and my self and most of all my two little kids.

I have two baby boys, Karim a 4 year and Ayham a 2.5. I remember the very first days in Canada, my kids never seen snow before, me and my wife so it in this volume and long lasting.

One thing I would like to add; to show how difficult it's to adapt for little kids; my kids used to wake up at 03:00 AM in the morning asking to eat, that because this time is 12:00 in my back home timing which was identical to their lunch time.

I still have hope, a strong commitment and most of all faith that we will all succeed.
